any ideas or is there an extension (tried firmware) so TC will see the ethernet port?
-
I'd suggest to share with us your 'dmesg' output as this might contain a clue ...
-
That is a huge listing, can't copy and paste it from System Stats, any other way of posting it?
-
Hi enoch
Open a terminal and type dmesg > dmesg.txt
On your next post click on Additional Options... and attach the file.
-
Thanks here it is.

Hi enoch
Unfortunately the dmesg buffer is not large enough to hold your entire boot sequence, so I can not
tell if your adapter is being recognized. You may need to modprobe a driver for it. What is the model
number of your network adapter?

Thanks Rich, its an atheros AR8152

Hi enoch
I don't see a driver listed for that card, but I'm no expert so you'll have to wait for someone more
informed to help you. If it's not available you may have to compile one from source.
From Atheros website:

Thanks for your help.

Not supported in our current kernel, unfortunately. There was another thread on this too.
