Title: atheros ethernet not working

any ideas or is there an extension (tried firmware) so TC will see the ethernet port?

I'd suggest to share with us your 'dmesg' output as this might contain a clue ...

That is a huge listing, can't copy and paste it from System Stats, any other way of posting it?

Hi enoch
Open a terminal and type  dmesg > dmesg.txt
On your next post click on  Additional Options... and attach the file.

Unfortunately the dmesg buffer is not large enough to hold your entire boot sequence, so I can not
tell if your adapter is being recognized. You may need to modprobe a driver for it. What is the model
number of your network adapter?

I don't see a driver listed for that card, but I'm no expert so you'll have to wait for someone more
informed to help you. If it's not available you may have to compile one from source.

Not supported in our current kernel, unfortunately. There was another thread on this too.
