It would be good to see how many times extensions downloaded. It would help maintainers to set up priorities and to get overall picture on TC usage.

Have a counter on each mirror, when stats are brought up then it adds the stats from all mirrors. Could also be useful to break down mirror usage.

Possibly you can get statistics from mirror depending on how they are arcitected. But if not that's fine. For sure ibiblio is handling most of downloads and its statistics are representative. No need for absolute numbers, percentages are useful. First you can implement at the main site owned by you. Mirrors may decide to follow.

Wondering though if
Downloads: 18,931
refers to 3.4.1 only or includes prior versions.
