Title: Mounting /dev/loop5
Post by: funtikar on January 10, 2011, 08:21:44 AM
I got this " mount: mounting /dev/loop5 on /tmp/tcloop/pppsetup failed: Invalid argument" while trying to install pppsetup. Before this it didn't happen, I managed to install pppsetup.. since I'm using live USB i'm sure I didn't change anything since it will be restored after a shutdown. Sometimes this happen to other tcz.

I don't think pppsetup works with 3g modems

I'm done with pppsetup.. But i got another issue. I managed to create some script but chat is giving "input/output error". Is this normal? Or do i have to install chat separately?

chat is a ppp configuration option, not something to install.

Wondering why you would get off-topic on your own thread while you have started another thread with topic ppp...

From eznet's help:

Code: [Select]
chat = "no" to ignore "login:" prompts, etc.
