My HDD crashed and am now running Ubuntu LiveCD, but there's only 1 CD drive . I want install TC onto an SD card, but I don't know how to go about it.
1) I think that Installing TC on USB (http://wiki.tinycorelinux.com/Installing+TC+on+USB&structure=Installing+TC) would help, but which steps to follow?
2) On the Current Release (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/)page, which files do I need to download?
3) If all, then is there a single easy way to download them all?

TC CD can be removed after boot.

If you've already got a bootable USB drive (i.e. have a boot loader installed on it) you just need to download the kernel (i.e. bzImage (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/distribution_files/bzImage)) and the initrd (i.e. tinycore.gz (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/distribution_files/tinycore.gz)) and create an additional entry in the boot loader configuration file.
This assumes that you know (at least a bit) of what you are doing. It's certainly not rocket science, but if you've never done something like this before the Wiki page mentions a few options that should help you in this endeavour.

I dont have a USB flash drive, just a SD card.

Most bios's can't boot from an SD card. If it's not in the boot menu of your bios, you'll never get TC/Grub to start from there.
-
ok, but perhaps an sd card into an usb adapter?
-
Yeah. Or Grub on the USB and TC on the SD.

Hi:
I found out that you can use an SD card adapter which is plugged into the IDE
socket on the motherboard. These tiny gadgets cost about $ 12.00 to 19.00
and are available on ebay. I recommend buying from a vendor in US such as onbene or so.

The sdcard to ide adapter works fine.
I use the usbinstall script HDD option to install Tiny Core.
-
there are also sata adapters available to connect a SD card.
Question: Where is that HD script to install?
