Title: Firefox

Here's one place that perhaps NOT using an extension works better (i.e., simply loading from the binaries placed somewhere on your HD), since it allows for updates (FF will prompt  you and install). Given that the browser is probably the greatest security risk, getting the updates might not be such a bad idea.

This would probably happen on a persistent tclocal setup too.

with the PPI (hybrid installation)..sure, since the extension is abandoned. No need, however, for an extension to begin with.  FF runs from wherever you put it.

It comes as a static build, so you can get 3.07 right from mozilla:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Note: copy flashplayer.xpt from /opera/plugins to get OSS working.
