Dear experts,
- Can TinyoreLinux be installed on Power PC based machine?
- Does it support qemu to run windows inside it?
- Does it support wine?
Thx
-
TC is for i386 architecture.
And from what I understand you want to do, it`s not the distribution you are looking for.
Just a curiosity: Why would one like to run Windows (includes i386 emulation) on PPC?
-
Because I want to run windows game on my PS3.
I am using now ubuntu, which it works perfectly, but I am searching for faster distribution.
So, TCL can't help me out?
-
I got part way there and then the infamous ps3 firmware upgrade forcibly removed linux and that was that...
-
Yes, TC has qemu and wine, but no PPC port.
-
I have 2 consoles: 3.55 for playing games & 3.15 for running linux.
So, TCL can't be installed on PPC machine or PS3?
-
As hinted at, tcl would need to be cross-compiled for ppc/cell - I was at the stage of booting on a ps3, when sony pulled the plug.
There's nothing to stop you cross-compiling tcl...

I am a newbie in linux world and dont knowhow to do that.
I was hopping that because I think TCL will be amazing on PS3
