Hi.
I seem to be stuck in a spot. I want to change my X resolution, but I don't know how.
I load the Xorg-7.5-3d extension, and it's dependencies, on boot. It automatically selects the highest resolution for my monitor (1440x900), and I want to change it. How do I?
I've already dropped in a xorg.conf copied from Puppy Linux into the '/etc/X11' folder, but on reboot the PC freezes at the desktop. I had to delete the 'home' and 'opt' folders, before rebooting into TCL.

To switch resolution while X is running use xrandr
To get a different default resolution in Xorg you could check documentation about editing xorg.conf
Also you might wanna try to use only the needed lines from your puppy xorg.conf

Load lxrandr.tcz, this gives you a GUI to change screen settings.
