Title: Recommended forums for difficult questions

Are you guys taking part or are aware of any forums or expert meeting places where difficult questions have good chances of being answered?  Currently stuck trying to install software on TC.  But my areas of interest also include online privacy and how to do it as well as a hacker.

The freenode IRC network might be a good place for what you require.

And please post questions of this type in the "Off-Topic" subforum  ;)

I go on Daniweb and the Ubuntu forums. Hope that helps. I find that Daniweb people are more active.
