Title: boot tinycore from "windows grub" special partition
Post by: P5music on October 26, 2010, 06:43:39 AM
Hello,
I saw my Vista system has a sda1 FAT32 partition that has some booting staff inside. Indeed the C: and D: drives are on different partitions.
I ask whether it is possible to put tinycore there and a "grub" system too.
Thanks

I've done something similar on several windows laptops to allow using tinycore in case of emergency.

I'd suggest you make a small additional partition, format it ext2/3 and put the tinycore and grub files there. You can use grub to choose whether to boot windows or tinycore.
