Title: n00b question "Why no default Web Browser?" search didn't find for me.

Sorry I didn't find it in the FAQ or forums or wiki. But not even lynx. My network requires a web login to get a routeable IP address. Guess I could make a quicky TCL but I'd have to do that everytime a version came out. Just impressed by the boot speed of TCL. Want to use it in my DNS/DHCP testing.

Not sure, do you refer to logging into a router?

But not even lynx.

IIRC, lynx is not very small.
Browser choice is really a personal subject.
I don't think it would be in the interest of most users to include a browser by priority, while network support is as limited as now... (e.g. lack of firmware for NICs, lack of wireless support).
If any, netrik (at 44 KB) might be a good candidate for such.

See wiki "Dynamic Remastering"   ;)
