Title: Installing ndiswrapper in a PC without Internet
Post by: o_Omg on October 02, 2010, 01:07:44 PM
Hi, this is the situation. I have a PC connected to the Internet using a Wi-Fi adapter. To make the Wi-Fi work I need to install a Windows driver using ndiswrapper. The problem is that meanwhile I have not internet in that PC, so how can I install ndiswrapper?

I've thought about downloading ndiswrapper, WICD, and all dependencies, pack it in a tcz and install it from the computer without internet, but how do I do this? :P

Once I have the tcz in a pendrive, I can mount it in the TinyCore PC and install everything. How do I mount the pendrive, just using the graphical mount tool? Where's the pendrive mounted, in /media/disk?

I'd guess /mnt/sdxN e.g. /mnt/sdc1
mount tool might work
