I am unsure whether to buy a 32-bit or 64-bit netbook... will TCL run as-is on 64-bits? Is there an advantage either way?

Yes, it is compatible. There is also 64-bit kernel parts for 3.x should you want it.

is there a how2 for using TC 3.2RC2 on a 64 bit machine?
How to find 64bit extensions or can a use the 32 bit extensions?
Can I just boot TC on a 64bit machine as a 32 bit OS and use all 32 bit extensions?
Does somebody know all this stuff?
Thank you so much in advance

If you look in:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/distribution_files/ (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/distribution_files/)
..you'll find bzImage64 and microcore64.gz.
If you replace the equivalent files in the 32 bit version with the above, you'll be able to boot 64bit.
The appbrowser should automatically use the 64 bit versions of the various modules extensions (eg alsa-modules-2.6.33.3-tinycore64.tcz) and the rest of the extensions should work in 32 bit mode.
You should also be able to run the standard 32 bit version of tc on a 64 bit machine
