It might be time for an update to pygtk, pygobject?

The latest versions are:
pygobject-2.26
pygtk-2.22
Whereas the versions in the repo are:
pygobject-2.21.5
pygtk-2.16.0
..I was meaning that it might be time to update the extensions - i.e. compile newer versions.

looks to be stable releases but may need gtk-2.22 ?

True - maybe the best is to go with the same version as gtk2 - 2.20.x

Oh, so they have released gtk 2.22.0.
Since I usually stay with the current stable, I will update gtk2 to 2.22. Will aim for it tonight.

It appears the entire gtk2 stack will have to be updated to support gtk-2.22.0 (atk, glib, cairo, pango, etc). I am short on time this week, but will try to squeeze it in.
