To everyone's credit, there are tons of extensions listed in AppBrowser. So many, in fact, that seeing as how I'm quite a novice with linux, I'd have to research each one in turn to get any idea of what each is...
Are there any good (mostly dependancy free) games in there? Or are they all productivity-oriented?
Neither ADOM or IVAN are listed, nor nethack. I did find SuperTux and TeeWorlds though, so I know games do exist...
How feasible would it be to categorize extensions? An expanding tree of catagorized software would be awesome.

if you search for "game" you will get all the games listed in appbrowser
some notable games are dreamchess, wormux, hedgewars, teeworlds,
there are also gnome-games and kdegames which contain lots of small games

Never thought to use the Search feature. Thanks for that!

Ace of penguins is a no-dep suite of small games.
