And where can i find such kind of information on your website? I had to ask for the loginname in the forum, and now starting the window manager... why is that not written on a "how to start", "first steps" or on the download page? Isn't that essentially...

You should not need to login, and flwm should start automatically.
If it does not, run xsetup followed by startx.

I've downloaded the tinycore_3.0.iso. But nothing starts automatically.

And if I start xsetup or startx the "Xvesa Resolution Setup" starts and ask for "Enter selection ( 1 - 2 ) or (q)uit, (n)ext, (p)revious:"

But it ignors all imput exept (q)...

I think i will download it again... but now http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/tinycore-current.iso instead of http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/tinycore_3.0.iso

OK, if you use VirtualBox you have to activate the 3d-support first or set the vram up...

thx

Those are the same ISO.
You have not told us anything about your hardware.
Your video card may not be supported.

Does your ethernet card work?
If so,
tce-load -i -w pci-utils
Then post the output of lspci.

I am a complete novice at this, but after looking for the answer to how I could start the GUI. I found out what worked for me. I had downloaded Tiny Core 7.1. Only one of the options worked. I downloaded Coreplus 7.1 and could not get any of them to work, until I checked the one that had worked. When the option screen opens, I press the Tab button. In the line of text I copied in waitusb=5 after the instruction cde, now all the choices that I have tried so far seem to work. I Hope this helps
