Title: TextWand feedback request
Post by: sunil.sahoo on June 07, 2010, 01:33:42 AM
Hi Guys,
We have developed a New Age Text Messaging Product on Linux called ‘TextWand’ (http://www.textwand.com (http://www.textwand.com)). Since you are some of the most active users of Linux, your acceptance and approval of our work will be most valuable.

I would appreciate it if you can download and use TextWand on Linux and let me know where I can improve your experience.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

It is not related to LInux. Available platforms:

desktop
Android
Windows Mobile

Linux is not listed.

Isn't this simply SPAM? Maybe not generated by a bot, but IMHO pretty close to it.

I would not say so.
It is in the lounge, where you can talk about almost anything (?).
There are many topics that are more unrelated than this. However that is not bad.

You are right, there are few LINUX distros listed. As at the moment I'm using TC and CentOS only, will not try it.

Hi bmarkus,
Thank you for your input about CentOS. I have uploaded a build for CentOS on our website. Please do use TextWand and let me know if it works well on CentOS. We will look at Tiny Core Linux and try to make a build for it too.

Looking forward to your reply.

Sunil
