K3B is a cd burning utility.  The startup script sets usable permissions on cd and dvd devices and sets cdrecord and cdrdao SUID root.  If cdrtools.tcz and cdrdao.tcz are used, cdrecord and cdrdao will not be SUID root as the files are not writable.  A menu entry was not added, but will be next revision as testing will surely uncover things to be tweaked.

I definitely have to try this. I really like K3B. Thank you for making an extension!
