Title: how to really drop an extension
Post by: P5music on April 17, 2010, 06:24:32 AM
Hi
I installed the java extension and I suspect it's slowing my tinycore boot.
I tried to cut it from "maintenance"  (that is where I put the extension I want to be loaded) but the boot time is the same.
So I ask you whether I have to delete the file of the extension to avoid it being loaded.
Thanks in advance.

If the extension is not listed in onboot.lst (onboot maintenance), and it's not a dep of a listed extension, it isn't loaded on boot.

Well, depending on the TC version used, what we do not know :(

version is 2.9
so it isn't sure a .tcz isn't loaded even if it does quit the "maintenance" list?
because I don't get any library error.
