Title: Installing TC from the same disk as another Linux distro
Post by: chalbersma on April 16, 2010, 05:42:22 PM
Here's the deal. I run a DSL music server using edna. But as DSL is dying (or dead) and TC seems quite live and robust I was searching for the best way to switch from TC to DSL without loosing my data.

So here's my questions:
Can I install TC to hard drive and have it be stable enough for a 24-7 server. (I believe the answer is yes) Or should I use a custimized live disk?

What's the best way to move from DSL to TC.

What are the biggest diffrence in custimized option between TC and DSL in terms of config files and such?

Thank any partial or full answers are appreciated.
