Tried home page as in .info http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~tuna/xearth/index.html but page doesn't exist. It looks better: http://hewgill.com/xearth/original/

BTW, there is a similar program, xplanet in the repo.

Was going off of the README in the source, which is no doubt outdated.   Homepage corrected.

This is no doubt a legacy app.  But I think there is room for more than one planetary app like there is room for more than one file manager. :-)

Thanks.  I am kind of surprised it built without a patch as the source is over 10 years old.  I think I remember this being the background of Red Hat ~6.2 which I installed once or so.
