Title: correct way 2 update extensions?
Post by: jls on April 02, 2010, 09:54:32 AM
If I undestrood well the proper way 2 update the applications is to update dep database from appsaudit and then update apps from cpanel.
Is this right?

For step 2, you can also choose which to update in Apps audit.

The .dep file of the single target file is also updated via selective update or batch update.
The update is driven by md5 files are not changes to the dep files.

so if there is a bug in the dep file, the extension too should be changed, so the md5 is different and the dep is redownloaded from the repo
