Title: VirtualBox - How to save config?
Post by: baz on March 29, 2010, 08:34:57 AM
Setting up a VM in VirtualBox updates the file /root/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml. Clearly I would like to save my VMs, so I put that path in .filetool.lst (minus the leading slash of course) - but when I backup I get the error: No such file or directory

Is that normal? What to do?

On a possibly related note, why isn't .VirtualBox in my home rather than root?

Place root/.VirtualBox in your .filetool.lst file, did the trick on my machine.
