I didn't see the links that were deleted so I don't know any specifics about them.

But I have to say that I've suggested to a few posters here that maybe TCL is not the best distro for them. In particular the ones who want a "basic" ISO that has a whole bunch of "essential" extensions that I've never had any interest in using. And I've gone on to mention other distros (e.g. Puppy Linux) that may be more like what they're looking for.

I suppose that could be construed as "promoting websites not related to Tiny Core".

Don't forget that there are "report to moderator" links that are available for obvious posts/threads that are problematic ;)
