I ask you which are the differences between tinycore and microcore.

MC is the same as TC without X windows and graphical tools. With other words MC as a text-only version of TC. They are sharing the same core (software base) and it is possible to add extensions to MC to upgrade it to TC.

so if I run a windows application with wine extension it will not show up, will it?

Wine requires TC
