Title: Sound Cards and Analog Game input
Post by: softwaregurl on January 27, 2009, 10:59:18 AM
Has anyone gotten an analog game input working?  I have a number of isa and isapnp sound cards and stand alone isa game cards (usually a printer or serial port to).  Which will work better, Alsa or OSS?  I never did get one going on the 2.4 kernel, but I found that it has to have resistance across the inputs for the "magic" to work.  Is this true still?  The only analog game I have had detected was by Debian Etch (I have looked and looked and cannot find where the connector is on the old Dell desktop.  Really don't think there is one).  So that adds a bit to the confusion
???
