omed: You seem to have a problem which might be limited just to your local system.

I've just tested on a "plain" TC 2.9 system running in a VirtualBox VM. The 'mlnet' executable appeared to be running fine and I had no trouble connecting to it with Opera (using: http://localhost:4080/ as address). What other extensions do you have installed on your system?

u can try to rebuild the mldonkey extension yourself, the script I've used is here:
ftp://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/tinycorelinux/2.x/tce/src/mldonkey/mldonkey.tcbuild (http://ftp://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/tinycorelinux/2.x/tce/src/mldonkey/mldonkey.tcbuild)
