Title: stats.txt is it a bad idea to store this file somewhere else?

Some history...

At first stats was inquiry only. Later it was requested to create a text file so that users could post it when detailed information was needed to help diagnose a problem.

If it were to be moved, where? How would one find it? Perhaps a better solution would be add stats.txt  to .xfiletool.lst.
