Title: Running On Virtual PC for Mac 7.03

My mouse does not work on Virtual PC.  The mac mouse never merges with the TinyCore mouse.  The GUI comes up but is useless.  The mouse just sits there while the mac mouse moves helplessly above as if it were a picture.  Any ideas?

Boot in text mode ("tinycore text"), and see if there's any kind of mouse recognized:

dmesg | grep -i mouse

If it is, you should see something like
input: PS/2+USB Mouse as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.1/usb4/4-1/4-1:1.0/input/input3

or
input: ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse as /class/input/input3

Not noticed I believe.  It only says "PS/2 mouse device common for all mice."  Perhaps I can make do with Q, but it is 1/4 of the speed.
