Hi.

I'd like to build a package that will provide support for EEPC laptops.
Mostly it'll be acpid scripts to get the hotkeys working, but it would also have a dep list which will allow the user to get everything they would need to get an eeepc working properly by just selecting one package (so a metapackage, basically)

If i submitted something like this, would it be accepted?
also, if anyone is keen to test this please let me know, as i only own a 701, so i cannot be sure if the scripts would work in all cases.

We have decided that metaextensions with a proper purpose are ok. As long as the extension itself would be accepted, an Eee-support one would be acceptable.

Metaextensions that are just my-favorite-collection-of-apps aren't accepted currently.
