Title: I found TC very interesting!
Post by: neilengineer on January 15, 2010, 04:25:48 AM
I am a Linux device driver developer, also used to work as a Linux Distro R&D engineer.

I found TC on DistroWatch,  and it is a very interesting distro!

Hope I can do something for TC.

There are some brilliant concepts in Tiny Core.

I believe it has a huge future.

I am not part of the development team, but

Contributions are encouraged and appreciated.

neilengineer:  Welcome!  If you have a wireless device that is not yet supported in TC, may I suggest preparing a TC extension for it?  I did that for my TI ACX-based WiFi pc-card and the WiFi chip in the ASUS eeEPC 1000.  You will obviously help yourself, and it is likely that there are several more, if not scores of other people whom you would simultaneously help out.  ;)

Or in general, since you have some background with device drivers, perhaps try looking through the Q&A parts of this forum for devices that people have found difficult or unable to use in TC and see if you can sort out the problem or create a better way to support them.  It would be much appreciated.

Yeah, sure I will do my best to help after I got more familiar with the TC concepts.   :)
