"Lenovo on Tuesday made a splash in the mobile market with the launch of its first smartbook, a mini-laptop called Skylight that the company says combines the best features of netbooks and smartphones, albeit without telephone functions.The lightweight device weighs 1.95 pounds (0.88 kilograms) and resembles a netbook, with a 10.1-inch screen and compact keyboard."

$499, what what what?

Wasn't the major point of ARM smartbooks being cheaper?

Built-in 3G. In Aus, those 3g modems are at least $100, so that's gonna negate your cheaper processor right off the bat. (at least, I haven't seen builtin 3G in any other netbooks in that pricerange)
And I'd happily pay $499 for 10 hours of battery life. Now, if only they'd make a smartbook with a 13' screen... 10 is too small...

very light and good looking netbook...but the price is :S
