I don't see this feature in microcore (I'm using flwm.tcz)
-
If you have the latest flwm.tcz there should be a new script called ondemand, open shell run it.
For microcore users, first time only, you will have to set permission to /home/tc/.wmx to tc.staff
-
so all the time I want to add an item in "ondemand" I should run this script?
-
No that script does the setup for items that you wish to have ondemand
It places item in the optional directory in a submenu named "OnDemand" in your right click menu.
That way you don't need to load all extensions at boot time, thus the boot time is reduced.
Try it.

To remove "OnDemand" extensions I presume the following steps are required:
- reboot to ensure optional extension is not active
- remove extension from tce/optional
- determine which dependencies are unique to this extension and remove them from tce/optional
- run "OnDemand" script
Have I missed anything?

OnDemand does not setup every item in optional directory. it is user selectable, by extension, title and binary (if any) to execute. It is obviously a new and totally optional feature and as has been the case with all new features it will be enhanced as we move forward.
The introduction of OnDemand in no way changes how one would manage their optional directory.
