Mostly this is a question for Juanito. I've just acquired a new ipod (Merry Xmas!) and it's supported by gtkpod .99.14 but not .99.12.
Aside from the noticeable size difference, are there any warnings I should receive before trying to compile the newest gtkpod and libpod?
Also ... anybody else had the problem of their ipod not [yet!] supported?
Looking forward to working it out, in any case. New toys, new toys ...

My notes, such as they are, can be found at http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/tce/src/gtkpod/compile_gtkpod (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/tce/src/gtkpod/compile_gtkpod).
There's nothing special that I recall - good luck :)
Edit: I'd recommend that you make two separate extensions, one for libgpod and one for gtkpod - libid3tag is now in the repo, so no need to include this in your new extension(s)

Thanks for posting your notes - I'll go through them. I've been away from a connection, so I was able to finish up the build before receiving those! Haven't gotten image processing working, though. I'll read up.
I've split off the locale files to a separate extension (400k).
I hope you won't mind my stealing your icon/menu structure for the 0.99.14 update? I'll happily put it to your credit in the info file.

You're welcome - go ahead :)
