Title: backup on the command line?

maybe i missed smthg, but i don't find in the forum instructions to perform a backup (mydata.tgz) on the command line; i'd like to know the command in order to remotly administrate my servers per ssh

filetool.sh backup

What's great is backup works from the command line when it fails during shutdown.
