In the changelog for tinycore v2.7 it mentions this;
* New ondemand - create flwm right click menu shortcuts to load and start applications from /tce/optional - tune your system for much faster boot times.
I can't see any new options in my flwm menu, do I need to update something? I installed by overwriting the 2.6 tinycore.gz and bzImage.
Thanks for any help, Happy Christmas.

You have to run the ondemand script first to select items to add to the menu.
You need to have extensions in the tce/optional directory first.

Thanks very much for the help. I added some programmes via appbrowser/ondemand then just typed in 'ondemand' in a terminal as you suggested. Selected what I wanted and then the 'ondemand' option appeared on the flwm menu. Clicking on the programme names at the flwm 'ondemand' menu added their icons to the wbar. These disappeared when I logged in next time though - (probably why it's called 'ondemand'. ::) )

You'll need to have ~/.wmx in your backup (which it should be by default).
-
I have that in my .xfiletool.lst. So not in my backup? Have I got it in the wrong place?
-
.xfiletool.lst will exclude it's contents. It is .filetool.lst that you want to put it in.

As previously posted the crorrect answer is:
Note to use OnDemand for flwm, you need to update your /opt/.xfiletool.lst and change:
home/tc/.wmx to home/tc/.wmx/Applications
-
So that ^ means it does not get saved, being in xfiletool.lst?
-
I changed my .xfiletool.lst as suggested above
Note to use OnDemand for flwm, you need to update your /opt/.xfiletool.lst and change:
home/tc/.wmx to home/tc/.wmx/Applications
and did a backup. Now the ondemand option in the flwm menu is persistent across boots and works very well. Thanks for your great work, have a cool Yule!
