Hi
Using f-spot on Ubuntu Hardy or (as I recall) whatever camera app I used on Fedora , there are no issues importing photos from this camera.
But not so on TC. If I boot with this camera plugged in it is picked up in dmesg and assigned to /dev/sda apparently, however neither the gphoto2 nor gtkcam extensions list this camera as supported and neither detect it. Also, it won't mount as vfat and I don't seem to be able to discover how to change the usb mode on the camera from "normal" to "ptp" if that is even necessary (wasn't on Ubuntu or Fedora).
No info here: http://www.teaser.fr/~hfiguiere/linux/digicam.html
Is there an f-spot extension?

Sorry to see no one had any info to help you on this one. Did you ever work it out?
I'm considering a few different photo managers for my personal collection. I don't use a Sony camera, though ...
EDIT: Looks like I'm not going to be the one to compile F-Spot. It requires Mono, which is a bit time-consuming to compile (search forum for other threads).
I'd be interested to know what you/others are using for photo management.
