Title: VMware View Open Client
Post by: the_sim on November 27, 2009, 11:36:11 AM
I am trying to get a tinycore local install to start the view open client automatically. I installed tinycore according to the instructions found on the main page. I then downloaded the view-open-client.rpm file from the google code page and installed it. I have a couple other dependencies to install but then it works...until I reboot. Upon reboot the program is removed and I have to re-install it. I am not sure if I can change the install directory for the view open client. It installs itself in the /usr/bin folder. How can I make it persistent so when I reboot the client is not deleted?
Thanks,
Pat

You need to create an extension from the rpm, and place it in your tce directory.  Please read
