Update your grub menu entry.

It's not the grub entry I am talking about but the first line that comes up in yellow. When I tried the iso, what I did there was to mount the iso, and copy the files to my boot folder so identical booting setup as the previous case.

The title from your grub entry is what first comes up when you boot.
I don't see the problem you describe.

I said, it's NOT the grub msg.  >:(

But the repo has been updated so it has been fixed. :)

Thanks for removing the missing /etc/sysconfig/icon error. ( now if  we can only get rid of the ever-present
Xlib notices, it'll be completely CLEAN  :)

Code: [Select]
Xlib:  extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".

A repost from August.  ::) The answer remains the same.
