I've repeated a repository check (using my little script which is now in http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?topic=3768)

The result is here:

I've highlighted the files which are possibly of interest, since Jason had already provided some rationale for the other entries.

The fact that opera-locale.tcz has no info file indicates to me that it's probably surplus to requirements.  It's contents looks fairly similar to opera10-locale.tcz, so I assume it is an earlier version of the same.

Another finding, which the script did not reveal, is the existence of two hidden files. They show up when syncing my private mirror and can be seen with:

opera-locale.tcz* and libv4l.tcbuild are removed.  The old appbrowser-cli I am unsure if it is needed for reference by it's author, so it remains.

The hidden python-dev files were from aborted vi sessions, they are removed.

Another iteration of the same check shows today (after removing the already known *.template files):

Removed.  As tar.gz and BUILD files don't normally have tcz in the name, they were uploaded with the batch of extensions.

Did just another spot check and only saw "tempfile" as a potentially surplus file in the repository.
