menu.lst file for grub is when i RAN IN TO TROUBLE (sorry for caps). Since im installing from a usb
(dev/sdc1) i CANT put 0x80,0 after the word root on the grub menu. WHAT do I put for dev/sdc1
since the instructions are for dev/sda1.Does it matter what I put there, should I put sdc1,0 or what? ??? [reduced] lol

You can use the UUID or LABEL features (see wiki articles on usb booting)
