Just updated to 2.5. Boot does seem faster than before! :) No other issues yet. Nice job, Robert and Core Team.

I have tested 2.5 with Xorg, all windows managers available and xfce and no TC related issues discovered, except one small one: on exit to command prompt, the command prompt does not appear until hitting enter. This is insignificant of course and could be specific to me...
At this point Tiny Core seems mature and it is an amazing achievement, considering the modular architecture working so well and seamlessly.
The showcase for me is implementation of drop-in confless Xorg and XFCE, which previously would require some work, now so easily done.
The fact you can drop in various components, windows managers, etc. , and compose a system to your liking in a matter of minutes, this is fantastic...

I have had that on all versions from 2.4. I thought it was normal, to be able to read onscreen stuff or something like that before some of it scrolls away. (I have a lot of wireless-related messages about dropped packets and renegotiating connections coming through all the time.)
