Title: query about acpi

Hi,
    I need to have an acpi option where , when the power button is pressed, i should be able to pop up a shutdown menu. How do i do that? any suggestions ?

the acpid extension will allow various acpi events to trigger the execution of a script - bigpcman made several posts about this.

It worked. I just had to configure the acpi event for power button.
