I notice the info file is somewhat unattractive.  It was edited with Scite.  Had this problem on dsl as well - something about tabs and spaces.

What gui text editor are people generally using for these files?

I normally use leafpad or busybox vi.  I tried scite and see what you mean, leafpad and vi both seem to have more normal use of the tab key.

I'll try those in future.  Been tied down with work last few weeks.
