Title: evdev Module not in Tiny Core?
Post by: Op.Davoron on October 22, 2009, 12:45:05 PM
Hi, iam somthing like new here.  :)
I want to install the evtouch Driver for my touchscreen.
But i have read that I have to load the evdev module with modprobe.
But It sems that I does not have the evdev module.

Does some know how to get it? is there a extention (have searched for it but with no results) or anything?

thank you for any help! :)

Ps.: I get the Touchscreen working with the eGalax driver but its close souce and not very costomizable. So I want to give the evtouch driver a look.

The tinycore .config has "CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV=y" so it looks like it's compiled into the kernel.

The are some touch screen drivers in the input-2.6.29.1-tinycore extension, see http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/2.x/tcz/input-2.6.29.1-tinycore.tczm.list (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/2.x/tcz/input-2.6.29.1-tinycore.tczm.list)
