Title: Suggestion: Organize the repository by categories, or add a "category" column.
Post by: roystonlodge on October 18, 2009, 09:32:05 PM
(Apologies if this has already been discussed.  I did do a search, but didn't find any past threads that covered this.)

I think it would be helpful if the repository could be organized by categories (system, office, net, games, multimedia, etc...).

If that's not possible, adding a "category" column would also be helpful.

And to indicate it is MC-compatible console application or has some use without graphical environment. For example linphone has both a graphical gtk GUI and a console-only client.

Learn to use the Search function:

Connect->Search
type games

Connect->Search
type browser

It is encumbent upon the .info file to contain proper key words so that others can easily narrow down the select list.
