Hi guys,
I'v been looking through your website and i think this looks like a really great linux disro.
Im wondering would it be possible to install Tiny core onto a Nintendo wii console, if you where able to have all the needed drivers?
Although there from another disro, they can be found here:
http://gc-linux.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/gc-linux/linux/drivers/
what do you think, is it possible?
many thanks,
Zerbo

zerbo:
TC is only built for Intel x86-family CPUs, so no, it can't be simply installed on a Wii. I believe the Wii uses something like a MIPS processor, so no version of Linux built for PCs with Intel x86 (or directly compatible CPUs) will work on the Wii.
In principle, you could take the TC source code and build it for the Wii's processor and perhaps add drivers from another version of Linux. But you would need an appropriate cross-compiler and perhaps other tools. This would be a very advanced project. I expect that another version of linux has already been built for Wii, but I don't know any specific ones.
