Title: usb install wrote over windows partition

i tried usb install on sda. i checked sda was my usb. my usb is 8gb and my hard drive is 500gb so i know i input the right drive letter. the install to usb pendrive script did install tc on usb but it wrote grub to my hard disk. so thats one problem. i have manually installed it successfully to usb. i cant imagine why it would do that?
