Hello everyone in the Tinycore team!
I've just tested tinycore 2.4 final for a short while but I can say that it really "rocks". Thank you for your efforts to bring this excellent distribution to al who might be interested! You can be very proud of this work. So, thanks again and keep surprising me with what tinycore can do.
Have fun developing tinycore to further hights,
meo

Nicely done, Robert. And your choice of flwm has been an excellent decision.

I second what perthie said.

I agree. This is a nice little OS--with the emphasis on little.
My goal in booting Tiny Core from an SDHC card is to have something very light and very fast. TC fits the bill better than anything else I have tried. Since I want a minimal OS on my Eee900, I downloaded 915resolution.tce, opera.tce, wireless_tools.tcel, wpa-supplicant.tce, madwifi-hal.tczm, OSS.tcem, xmms-1.2.11.tcel, xmms-musepack-1.2.1.tce, xpdf-3.02pl2.tce, nano.tce, mc.tce, and cfdisk.tce. These very tiny bits of software give me wifi (with WEP/WPA), screen display optimized for me Eee, text editing (nano), file management (mc), music (xmms), disk management (cfdisk), and a pdf reader (xpdf).
Perfect!
Would there be a benefit in changing any of these to .tcz files that I mount?

Faster boot, less ram use.
