Title: wicd not in tc repository

I downloaded it from Sourceforge into my PPR but now how to install, need details.

it used to be, I made wicd extension before, but the tc team removed it due to incomaptibility with the new python, if I remeber well (search in th forum).
If u need for wirless u can use wifi-radar which is in the repo.

Wicd was a casualty of the Python upgrade.  I had a go at rebuilding it, but as I don't have proper means of testing it would be much better if someone who uses this app and can build and test it.  The old wicd is still available in the source area to use as a guide:

If there was a way to preserve it into a self contained extension, I would have done that to keep it in the repo.   It is an easy build, but a little tricky to put together and test.  I may revisit it in the future if time allows.

will try wifi radar thought it was for wpa only need access for wep

To be honest WEP is much more easy with wifiradar than WPA (as with other tools).
