Title: oss: wmix not supported on architecture
Post by: fladd on September 14, 2009, 11:21:46 AM
Hi there,

when installing oss on my very old machine, I get the error that wmix is not supported on this architecture and oss does not find any audio devices.
Tested oss and oss40.
Any ideas?

Regards,

I did, this seems to work, but it results into Flash10 not working properly of course, since this needs oss.

I use alsa with flash and I have no problem, I have problems with other apps, like mplayer 4 example where I have to use the aoss extension togheter:
Code: [Select]
aoss mplayer filename

Something is wrong here. I have a AC97 Maestro onboard soundchip, which should actually be supported by OSS.
So, what can I do?
